If you were considering Awakening

Most travelers who had Awakening on their list wanted the same thing: a large-scale visual spectacle, immersive staging, and a show mixed-age groups could attend together. Awakening's published minimum age was 5+. Awakening has closed, and Wynn's next production is not expected until 2027. If that description still matches what your group wanted, the real question is which productions are still booking for your dates.

Shows like Awakening, honestly matched

Awakening is built around immersive tech staging, large-scale visuals, puppetry and illusion inside a purpose-built theater. Guests who liked that feeling often still enjoy a few different things: high visual density (WOW, Cirque productions, or the Sphere's immersive format, which is a different kind of experience), family-appropriate spectacle (WOW, Mystere, Blue Man Group), or water as a centerpiece (O or WOW). No show is a copy of Awakening, and that is fine. The goal is a memorable night that fits your dates, ages and budget.

Why WOW is a practical post-close booking

WOW performs on a regular weekly schedule at Rio; confirm the live calendar for your date. The show is visual-first: water, acrobatics, aerial work, comedy and projections, which works well for mixed ages and international guests. WOW has won Best Acrobatic Show gold at the Best of Las Vegas awards in both 2024 and 2025, has drawn more than 2.5 million guests, and has performed over 3,000 shows since 2017. Tickets are commonly available from about $45 before fees, though prices vary by date and should be confirmed at checkout. Rio offers free self-parking. Booking preferred seats ahead of time is worth doing before a date sells through the lower tiers.
